
Mark Pope leaves: Who will be BYU’s next basketball coach?
PROVO, Utah (BVM) – Mark Pope has led the BYU Cougars to two NCAA Tournament appearances over the past five seasons and has put the school on the national map for basketball. He did a good enough job to where he landed the head coaching position with the Kentucky Wildcats.
This leaves BYU looking for a new leader.
The Cougars have a rabid fanbase and now that they are in the Big 12, they could attract some intriguing candidates. These are five coaches who could be deeply involved in their search.
