Mason Gillis transferring: 5 landing spots for forward
Indiana
The Hoosiers will have a pretty strong post presence with both Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako returning. However, with the sizable loss of Kel’el Ware in the middle, Indiana may need to shuffle things around to make up for his absence. While Gillis certainly isn’t the big-bodied type the Hoosiers would look for, he could take up a spot on the wing.
Indiana lacks shooting as well and that’s something Gillis can certainly provide. He’s a native of the state with plenty of Big Ten experience so that also has to be appealing to the coaching staff. If Gillis wants to join an in-conference rival to get some revenge on his former school, the Hoosiers would give him that opportunity as well.
