Raegan Beers enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

CORVALLIS, Ore. (BVM) – Oregon State forward Raegan Beers has entered the transfer portal following a tremendous sophomore season for the Beavers.

Beers is a former McDonald’s All-American who starred at Valor Christian High School in Colorado before taking her talents to Corvallis. The 6-foot-4 forward made her presence felt right away as a freshman at Oregon State while averaging 13.3 points and 8.6 rebounds.

After finishing just 13-19 in 2022-23, the Beavers had a remarkable turnaround this past season, going 27-8 overall while reaching the Elite Eight. A big reason why was the continued emergence of Beers who averaged a double-double with 17.5 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 66.4% from the field. She also proved to be a force on the defensive end for Oregon State, averaging 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks.

Beers’ size and skill on both ends of the floor make the sophomore one of the top players available in the women’s college basketball transfer portal, and there should be multiple opportunities for the talented forward to join a premier program this offseason. Here are five possible landing spots for Beers.
