Schmehl Steady on Windy Day as Mount Slighted by Quinnipiac

EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 13, 2024) – Dealing with windy conditions at Our Lady of the Meadows Field, freshman Sophia Schmehl locked into a pitchers' duel with Quinnipiac's Sydney Horan. A couple of sixth inning runs proved the difference as Mount St. Mary's softball fell to the Bobcats, 2-1. Schmehl went six innings and scattered five hits to go along with two strikeouts.
