5 standouts from Alabama’s 2024 spring football game

The offense largely stole the show during Alabama’s spring game and one of the best position groups was running back. Young didn’t quite put up the numbers that A-Game MVP Jam Miller did, but he looked very impressive and could be part of a talented trio this season that also features Miller and Justice Haynes. On the day, Young had 29 yards on seven carries, showing physicality and toughness on many of his runs including on his touchdown scamper. The four-star Class of 2023 prospect from Florida averaged just 2.7 yards on nine carries overall last year, but both of those numbers should see a sharp increase if the 5-foot-11, 200-pound halfback continues to display the upside he did this past weekend.
