Dillon Mitchell transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Florida State Seminoles
Florida State was one of the schools that Mitchell was considering before he committed to Texas. Leonard Hamilton and the Seminoles have endured a couple of down years since that point, but returning to his home state to play in a system that seemingly fits his athletic skill set is a possibility. Hamilton often tends to play a deep rotation which should allow Mitchell to get good minutes even with some talented players already on the roster at the same position including Jamir Watkins. However, the Noles have lost several key members of their frontcourt to the transfer portal this offseason including Cam Corhen, Baba Miller and De’Ante Green. That should make Mitchell a logical replacement and potentially a top target for Hamilton in the portal.
