9. Vernon Wells, CF (1999-2010)
Wells, the fifth overall choice in the 1997 MLB Draft, turned in a worthy career in Toronto.
His best statistical showing was in 2003 when he slashed .317/.359./.550. He led the majors with 215 base knocks and the AL with 49 doubles, earning him his only Silver Slugger and first of three All-Star nods. Wells was also a three-time Gold Glover.
He played the third-most games in a Blue Jays uniform (1,393) and also ranks third in runs scored (789). He’s second all-time in hits (1,529), extra-base hits (592), and RBIs (813).
