Iona Softball Swept by Mount on Saturday

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Iona University softball team dropped a pair of games to Mount St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon. In the opener, the Gaels fell 4-2 before a 12-1 defeat to the Mountaineers in the second game at Donald E. Walsh Field. The Mountaineers opened the first game with a walk and sacrifice bunt before an RBI double brought in the first run.
