Riley Named MIAA Pitcher of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State junior Ty Riley has been named the latest MIAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week, announced Monday (April 29) by the league office. The right-handed starter wrapped up the regular season with a dominant start at Pittsburg State, striking out 12 Gorillas in a 13-8 victory on Friday (April 26). After loading the bases with no outs in the first inning, Riley proceeded to retire the next 15 batters, keeping PSU scoreless through the fifth inning.
