Boeckenstedt named MVP of Regional; Four Kohawks named to all-tournament team

GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Coe College softball team had four players named to the Greencastle Regional all-tournament team on Saturday after the conclusion of the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Coe, which secured its second-straight regional title, also had the tournament MVP as Heather Boeckenstedt was named the Greencastle Regional Most Outstanding Player. Ellie Thurow, Skyler Stookey, Ruby Kappeler and Madi Parson were also recognized following the weekend, being named to the all-tournament team as Coe had a tournament-high four players on the squad.
