White Sox ‘willing to deal’ Luis Robert Jr.: 5 landing spots

CHICAGO (BVM) – The Chicago White Sox are the worst team in baseball this season and that could bring some major changes. There is already speculation surrounding manager Pedro Grifol’s job, and while the team was already penciled down as sellers at the trade deadline, it could be more dramatic than expected.

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported that Chicago is “willing to deal” star outfielder Luis Robert Jr. The 26-year-old who is under contract through 2025 with club options for 2026 and 2027 would be the trade deadline’s most valuable piece.

Robert placed 12th in the AL MVP voting last season and he is slugging .514 in 2024. He has a .825 career OPS.

These are the teams that could go all-in for the Cuban five-tool player.
