The 6-foot-1, 205-pound standout from New Jersey began his college baseball career at Duke in 2023, hitting 11 home runs as he was named to the All-ACC Freshman team and was honored as a second-team freshman All-American by Perfect Game.
Fischer transferred to Ole Miss last year and thrived in his first season in Oxford, hitting .285 while leading the team with 20 home runs, 57 RBIs, 59 hits and 133 total bases. Fischer also had a 1.040 OPS as he earned second-team All-SEC honors.
Fischer, a likely early-round MLB draft pick in 2025, should be highly sought after by some of the top programs in college baseball thanks to his power from the left side of the plate and overall skill set. Here are five potential landing spots for the Ole Miss third baseman in the transfer portal.
