Miller entered the league on the heels of a Final Four run with Miami last summer as the 48th pick of the draft by the Clippers. He saw action in just eight games during his rookie season but proved during this year’s summer league that he may be ready to take on a bigger role, particularly with the Clippers moving on from a couple of their veterans this offseason. Miller was the third-leading scorer in Las Vegas as he averaged 25.4 points. He scored 21 points or more in four of five contests, including a 36-point outing in L.A.’s first summer league matchup. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard also averaged 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals, and shot 54.9% from the field along with an incredible 60% from 3-point range. Miller’s proven scoring ability could help him crack Ty Lue’s rotation in 2024-25.
