5. Carter Smith, Sr., Bishop Verot
Smith is one of two coveted Michigan QB commits in the Sunshine State. The Florida Gatorade Player of the Year in 2023 completed 62% of his passes as a junior while racking up 2,938 yards and 48 touchdowns. Smith is a two-sport star (baseball) in Fort Myers, Florida, but he will gain the most attention by being under center in Ann Arbor.
