4. Colton Gumino, Sr., Hersey

Gumino has risen the ranks following a terrific junior season and held several low-level Division I offers heading into the summer. In recent months, he received offers from Power 4 schools like Florida and UCLA and committed to the Bruins in late June. Before Gumino takes his talents to the new-look Big Ten, he will hope to lead Hersey on a deep postseason run after the Huskies went undefeated last year before a playoff loss to Downers Grove North. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal caller showcased his big arm and accuracy throughout the 2023 season, throwing for 2,488 yards and 35 touchdowns, while also proving capable of making plays with his legs. Those numbers have the potential to grow as Gumino caps his high school career.
