Top 10 Indiana Hoosiers football players of all time
8. Adewale Ogunleye, DE (1996-99)
A three-time All-Big Ten selection, Ogunleye is one of the best defensive players to ever play at Indiana University. Ogunleye is the Hoosier’s all-time leader in sacks with 34.5 and tackles for loss with 64. His career sacks rank sixth and his career tackles for loss rank seventh in Big Ten history. Ogunleye posted 167 career tackles, eight forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries as a Hoosier. A knee injury cut short his senior year and caused him to go undrafted in 2000, signing with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent. Ogunleye was inducted into the Indiana University Hall of Fame in 2014.
