Top 10 Minnesota Golden Gophers football players of all time
9. Adam Weber, QB (2007-10)
Weber won the starting quarterback position his freshman season and didn’t look back, starting a program-record 50 games under center. He sits at the top of the school record books with 10,917 passing yards, 72 touchdown passes and 82 total touchdowns. Weber’s 14 games with at least 250 passing yards are the most in Minnesota history and he turned his success into a three-year professional football career.
10 years ago today, @Adam_Weber8 set a #Gophers program record for career touchdown passes when he found Da'Jon McKnight for a 31-yard TD against USC. Weber ended his career with a still-standing record 72 TD passes. pic.twitter.com/9CjcCEGlIa
