Steelers ‘to monitor’ WR trade market: 5 potential targets
Courtland Sutton
Sutton is one of several veteran receivers on this list and perhaps the most underrated. Throughout his seven years, Sutton has often just caught bad breaks like tearing his ACL in 2020 coming off a 1,100-yard season, or simply suffering from bad quarterback play. Even so, Sutton has flashed his talent time and again no matter the circumstances as a big-bodied 6-foot-4 receiver who can go up and make contested catches. The 28-year-old hasn’t produced big numbers playing with rookie quarterback Bo Nix this season, but that could change with someone like Fields, while Sutton also has a rapport with Russell Wilson from his time with the Broncos should Pittsburgh eventually make a quarterback change. Acquiring Sutton could come at a multiple-draft-pick cost, but his presence, particularly in the red zone, could be worth it.
