Steelers ‘to monitor’ WR trade market: 5 potential targets
Darius Slayton
The Giants’ season is slipping away fast and there could be a big overhaul coming in New York sooner rather than later when it comes to the team’s coaching staff and players. It wouldn’t be a shock if the Giants attempted to make multiple moves at this year’s trade deadline and Slayton could be one of the biggest names available. Malik Nabers has already established himself as the alpha receiver in the Big Apple while Wan’Dale Robinson has also been productive. With a young talent like Jalin Hyatt on the roster as well, Slayton is expendable. The 6-foot-1, sixth-year vet isn’t necessarily a flashy name, but he has a proven track record of success with at least 700 receiving yards in four of his first five NFL seasons. He is undoubtedly someone who could be a valuable deep threat for Fields and likely wouldn’t cost a lot.
