Diontae Johnson expected to be traded: 5 possible landing spots
Washington Commanders
The Commanders have been in the market for a No. 2 receiver alongside Terry McLaurin for a while and could look to strike a deal for arguably the top wideout still available on the trade market with Johnson. The Commanders have surprised many with five wins in their first seven games and have an opportunity to further take control of a wide open NFC East this season. Jayden Daniels has been the leader of Washington’s resurgence as he has looked the part of a No. 2 overall pick with dynamic rushing and terrific arm talent. However, outside of McLaurin, the Commanders lack receiving weapons with tight end Zach Ertz and running back Austin Ekeler serving as their next leading pass catchers. Johnson could help fill the receiving void and could put up some big numbers as an exciting underneath option for Daniels.
