9. Hayden Assemian, PF, Moravian Prep

Assemian will spend his senior season playing with Moravian Prep on the Overtime Elite circuit alongside some of North Carolina’s other top senior stars like Eli Ellis. It should be a valuable experience for the power forward who has already impressed at the prep level at Powdersville High School in South Carolina. Last season, Assemian averaged 15.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks as an all-state player for the Patriots. He also helped lead Powdersville to a state title, posting 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the championship game. The 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward has a nice skill set as he can put the ball on the floor and attack the basket but can also shoot and back people down in the post. Assemian’s bright future will take him home to play for South Carolina following his prep career.
