Top 10 SEC basketball players for the 2024-25 season
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (BVM) – The SEC features an abundance of skilled players each college basketball season and this year’s group may arguably be the best collection of talent across any conference in the country.
Last season, newcomer Dalton Knecht won the conference’s player of the year award as he helped Tennessee to an Elite Eight appearance, while Reed Sheppard was sensational in his first season at Kentucky, earning league freshman of the year honors.
A couple of freshmen and some new transfers will be among the conference’s top players this season as well, but what might ultimately make the SEC the top conference in college basketball in 2024-25 is the amount of returning stars who are ready to shine again throughout the campaign.
