Top 10 SEC basketball players for the 2024-25 season
10. Jaxson Robinson, G, Kentucky
Robinson is one of several intriguing transfers for a new-look Kentucky team under head coach Mark Pope alongside Koby Brea, Otega Oweh, Andrew Carr and LaMont Butler, among others. Robinson may ultimately have the highest upside among the group and already has experience playing in Pope’s system while at BYU. The 6-foot-6, 192-pound guard has prior SEC experience as well, playing his first two collegiate seasons at Texas A&M and Arkansas. He emerged as the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year for the Cougars in 2024, averaging 14.2 points while shooting over 35% from 3-point range, but Robinson was a regular starter in his first season at BYU and figures to be again in Lexington. His smooth offensive game could make him one of the top scorers in the SEC this season.
