SAN DIEGO (BVM) – Tanner Scott has been one of the best relievers in baseball over the past couple of years and now he will get paid for it. The 30-year-old southpaw posted a 1.75 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP with the Miami Marlins and San Diego Padres in 2024.
He is the best relief pitcher on the market and he should command a multi-year deal north of $10 million annually.
Scott only has 55 career saves, but he has pitched well enough to earn a closing role.
