Ranking the top 10 Cleveland Cavaliers players of all time
9. John “Hot Rod” Williams, PF/C (1986-95)
Williams was a two-way talent that could change the complexion of a contest. At 6-foot-11 and 220 pounds, he had the size, skill and athleticism to make an impact in multiple roles. Williams’ best season came in 1989-90 when he averaged 16.8 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots per game.
“He could have been a starter on any team in the league. He was an unsung hero.”
