Ranking the top 10 Indiana Pacers players of all time
9. Paul George, SG/SF (2010-16)
If not for LeBron James’ Miami Heat teams, George’s time as a Pacer might be remembered much more fondly.
Those overpowered South Beach opponents booted Indiana in the playoffs three years in a row, including twice in the Eastern Conference Finals. George’s star power was a big reason those Indiana teams made it that far.
He was included on four All-Star teams and was a three-time All-NBA selection with the Pacers. George averaged 18.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game with the Pacers and has the third-most three-pointers (897) in franchise lore.
Shid Indiana pacers Paul George before injury Paul George was better…. Nobody could guard him he could guard everybody! When Lebron defensive prowess was at its peak pg use to have Lebron in hell!!!! https://t.co/Jzw9GbxnRL pic.twitter.com/wpYfjdDyfB
