2. Larry Bird, F (1979-92)

Alongside Magic Johnson, Bird defined an era of NBA basketball with his consistent dominant play. He won three MVP awards and finished in the top four in MVP voting nine times, averaging 24.3 points, 10 rebounds and 6.3 assists over his 13-year career. Bird was a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 1998 and remains in the top five in Celtics history in points, assists, rebounds, steals and blocks.
