10. DJ Lagway, Florida

Lagway may be a wild card compared to some of the experienced, bonafide top quarterbacks on this list. However, during his half season or so as a starter, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound freshman looked like a blossoming star. Lagway first showcased his potential in an early-season start against Samford where he threw for 456 yards and three touchdowns, but his best play came late in the year after taking over for an injured Graham Mertz. Lagway helped lead Florida to four straight wins to close the season and showcased his strong arm several times in the process, throwing for 1,915 yards and 12 touchdowns. While he still needs to become more accurate and cut down his turnovers, Lagway has 4,000-yard potential in 2025 and could revitalize the Gators in Billy Napier’s fourth year.
