Top 10 NCAA women’s basketball All-American candidates in 2025

10. Khamil Pierre, Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 10 years last season and the Commodores are poised for a return to the Big Dance in 2025. That’s thanks to one of the best duos in women’s college basketball between freshman guard Mikayla Blakes and sophomore forward Pierre. Blakes, who averages 21 points, could also garner All-American buzz down the stretch, but it would be hard to leave Pierre out of the mix if she continues this pace. The 6-foot-2 sophomore is averaging 21.7 points which ranks eighth in the country. Her 10.3 rebounds per contest rank 18th, while she also averages the 10th-most steals in the nation (3.2). Pierre, who averaged just 8.9 points last season while only playing around 20 minutes per contest, is arguably the sport’s most improved player in 2024-25.
