9. Andrew Clapinski, C, Baton Rouge Catholic
Clapinski is part of a talented Baton Rouge Catholic squad that won an LHSAA Select Division I state title last season. Several stars remain from last year’s team that could lead the Bears on a deep postseason run again, including Clapinski and star infielder Jack Ruckert. Clapinski hit .396 with six home runs and 45 RBIs in 2024 which were both the most among Baton Rouge Catholic hitters. He was clutch throughout the Bears’ playoff run at the plate and is sound defensively as a catcher, skills that were also on display while playing over the summer with Knights Knation. The talented 6-foot, 180-pound senior is in line for a strong finish to his prep career in 2025 that could feature another state title alongside Ruckert. He will then go the JUCO route to begin his collegiate career at LSU Eunice.
