8. Ryan Darrah, SS, Brother Martin
Darrah has put together an impressive high school baseball career at Brother Martin and will aim to finish on a high note this spring. Darrah impressed for the Crusaders as just a sophomore when he was named 2023 Catholic League Hitter of the Year. He continued to shine in 2024, hitting an impressive .423 with 11 doubles, 39 runs and 22 stolen bases. Darrah isn’t the biggest power hitter with just one long ball last season, but his ability to put the ball in play and pose a threat on the base pads makes him a dangerous offensive player in Louisiana’s strong senior class. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound standout has nice size, a smooth swing and good bat speed which could make him a valuable piece at the next level at Arizona State.
