Khalil Mack’s free agency: 5 landing spots for future HOF LB
LOS ANGELES (BVM) – After mulling retirement following the 2024 season, Khalil Mack will return in 2025 and is one of the top pass rushers available in free agency this offseason.
The 33-year-old has had an exceptional NFL career since becoming the fifth overall pick in 2014 out of Buffalo, beginning with the Oakland Raiders where he achieved double-digit sack totals in three of his first four pro seasons. Mack was also strong across four seasons with the Chicago Bears and has had a career resurgence recently with the Los Angeles Chargers, highlighted by a 17-sack season in 2023.
In 2024, Mack made 39 total tackles along with six sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. The multi-time first-team All-Pro and 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year continues to play at a high level and should draw interest from several teams in free agency. Here are five landing spots for Mack.
