Amari Cooper’s free agency: 5 landing spots for 7x 1,000-yard WR
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have been in the market for a wide receiver for a while and Cooper could become one of their top targets this offseason. Pittsburgh’s quarterback situation for 2025 remains uncertain, but whether it’s a veteran like Russell Wilson under center again or a younger quarterback, additional weapons on offense are a necessity. Despite winning 10 games and reaching the playoffs again under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers’ offensive struggles continued in 2024 as they ranked just 23rd overall and 27th in passing yards per game. When healthy and focused, George Pickens has proven he can be a No. 1 wideout, but the Steelers lack viable options behind him outside of perhaps Calvin Austin III. Cooper would be an invaluable No. 2 wideout in the Steel City and could also serve as a veteran mentor for Pickens.
