Ranking the 10 greatest Utah Jazz players of all time
4. Mark Eaton (1982-93)
Eaton is one of the few players on this list to spend his entire career with the Jazz. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year twice during his 11-year career. The center led the league in blocks per game four times and his average of 5.6 per game in 1984-85 remains the highest average since the league officially started tracking that statistic. Eaton was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 1984-85 and 1988-89. His jersey No. 53 was retired in 1996.
