Top 10 New York high school baseball players in Class of 2025
5. Erick Peralta, RHP, Progress High School For Professional Careers
Peralta can deal a fastball that pops into the catcher’s mitt as fast as 96.7 mph as of January. As a high schooler, he looks like a professional in stature. He’s been described as having a Division I football tight end’s build at 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds.
Peralta, a Brooklyn native, was invited to the Prep Baseball 2025 Super 60. He will join the University of Miami’s baseball team at the next level. Perfect Game believes he could be a potential very high draft pick.
