Owen Freeman transferring: 5 landing spots for Iowa big man

Gonzaga is a team that has already been rumored to have interest in Freeman, and Mark Few will likely look to add at least one big man in the portal this offseason. The Bulldogs are making their 26th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025 and continue to be one of the premier programs in men’s college basketball. Few’s teams have long featured good guard play and dominant players down low. That has been no different in 2024-25 as forward Graham Ike leads the team in scoring at 17.1 points per game. Brayden Huff, a 6-foot-10 sophomore, has also emerged, but Freeman could be a valuable addition with Ike and veteran big Ben Gregg out of eligibility following this season. Freeman is fully capable of putting up similar numbers to Ike and his fit alongside Huff would be intriguing.
