Top 10 2025 NBA Draft prospects in the NCAA Tournament

4. Derik Queen, C, Maryland

Queen has helped raise his draft stock with brilliant play down the stretch of the regular season for Maryland, and he could hear his name called within the top 10 picks in June’s draft. Queen is a player who can do a little bit of everything at his 6-foot-10, 250-pound size. His scoring ability is the first thing that stands out as he is good in the low post and also shoots well from the mid-range. This season, Queen has averaged 16.3 points while shooting just shy of 53% from the field. He has also excelled as a rebounder with nine boards per contest, and is solid on the defensive end, averaging over a block and steal per game. Maryland could be a darkhorse team in this year’s tournament in large part thanks to Queen, and his tantalizing upside should continue to be on display throughout the Big Dance.
