Bryce Hopkins transferring: 5 landing spots for All-Big East forward
Georgetown Hoyas
Hopkins has an obvious connection to Georgetown as he would reunite with Ed Cooley, his former head coach at Providence, should he transfer to Washington D.C. Hopkins thrived in Cooley’s system during his sophomore season, and could potentially be a piece that takes the Hoyas to the next level in the Big East in Cooley’s third season. Georgetown improved significantly in 2024-25, going 17-15 while finishing seventh in the Big East. The Hoyas featured a talented young big with freshman Thomas Sorber, who could potentially decide to leave for the NBA this offseason. With veteran forward Micah Peavy also out of eligibility, adding to the frontcourt may become a necessity for Cooley, and bringing in a familiar face with high upside like Hopkins could be a perfect match.
