10. Sawyer Cooney, RHP, Bloomfield Hills

Cooney is a nice two-way player who has also been solid at the plate at Bloomfield Hills, but his future resides on the mound. That future will soon take him to Xavier after Cooney announced his commitment to the Musketeers this past December. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound righthander has continued to impress more and more over the past year or so with a nice mix of pitches including a low-90s fastball and a solid splitter. Cooney had several strong outings last season down the stretch for the Black Hawks, helping them creep toward 20 wins on the year. The senior pitcher will aim to take Bloomfield Hills further in 2025 before beginning what could be a special collegiate career.
