Texas Tech athletics are legitimate contenders in the NIL era. It landed JT Toppin last offseason and then had one of the top portal classes in the country for football. Toppin is playing at an elite level this season and Darrion Williams has been a great piece too. Starting guards Elijah Hawkins and Chance McMillan are out of eligibility, but a backcourt of Dent and Christian Anderson is likely an upgrade.
