Mgbako, a five-star recruit from Roselle Catholic High School in New Jersey, committed to Indiana over offers from powerhouse programs like Duke, Kentucky and Kansas. He earned a share of the 2023-24 Big Ten Freshman of the Year award with Iowa’s Owen Freeman and finished his career in Bloomington with averages of 12.2 points and 4.3 rebounds.
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward has two years of remaining eligibility and plans to test the NBA waters. Should Mgbako return to college basketball, here are five schools that could add the former McDonald’s All-American.
