Davon Mitchell transferring: 5 landing spots for highly touted TE

Lincoln Riley has been tearing up the recruiting trail lately. The Trojans have the No. 1-ranked 2026 class, according to 247 Sports. That collection doesn’t include a tight end, and Mitchell is a California native who USC had offered as a high schooler.

Riley and his team didn’t perform all that well during their first season in the Big Ten. Look for that to change in the coming seasons as he constructs a talented group.
