Ranking the 10 greatest Cincinnati Bengals of all time
9. Geno Atkins, DT (2010-20)
Atkins had a special 11-year career in the NFL, spent entirely with the Bengals. A member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade team, Atkins made eight Pro Bowls in a nine-year span during his pro career. The defensive tackle was also named a first-team All-Pro in 2012 and 2015, and was a key reason why the Bengals made five consecutive playoff appearances from 2011-15. Overall, Atkins racked up 384 tackles during his time in Cincinnati, and an impressive 100 tackles for loss. The run stuffer was also terrific at getting after the quarterback with 75 ½ career sacks, and had nine sacks or more in five seasons. The 2010 fourth-round pick far exceeded career expectations and will long stand as one of the best Bengals defenders of all time.
