No. 5 Women’s golf posts strong final round at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The fifth-ranked Auburn women’s golf team closed strong in the final round on Wednesday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club. The Tigers fired a 5-under 279 to finish with a 54-hole total of 866 (+14) and in fifth place. Auburn was led in the final round by junior Anna Davis, who shot a 4-under 67 with seven birdies. Teeing off No. 10, Davis made the turn at 2-under before a double bogey on No. 1. She responded with four birdies over her final eight holes to post her best score of the week....
