Mustangs in 14th after Day One in Pueblo

Pueblo, CO. – The Western New Mexico University men's golf team finished up the opening day of the Sam Proal Invite in Pueblo, Colorado and ended in 14th of 18 teams. The Mustangs had an opening two rounds of 298-293 (+23) to begin the 54 hole event at Pueblo Country Club. Jacob Alcorta (Silver City/Silver HS) and Jayden Schmitz (Oro Valley, AZ/Ironwood Ridge HS) both led the way for the Mustangs with a 36-hole total of (+4).
