RiverHawks Drop Series Finale to Pittsburg State
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State scattered five hits in an 11-2 loss to Pittsburg State on Saturday afternoon as the Gorillas completed a series sweep. Pittsburg State took control early, scoring two runs in the opening inning and adding eight unanswered runs to build a commanding lead. Joseph Perry broke up the shutout in the sixth inning with a solo home run to right field. Jaxon Gregory added an RBI in the seventh. The RiverHawks used seven pitchers in the contest.
