Titans Mourn The Loss Of Turono Anderson

DETROIT (6/12/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy is in deep mourning as the Titans lost one of their own with the news of the passing of Turono Anderson, who entered eternal life earlier this week. Anderson played in 103 games for the Titans from 1974-78, helping U-D to some of the greatest years in school history, averaging 6.2 points and 1.8 rebounds. During his time, the Titans were 86-25, including back-to-back 25-4 campaigns in his final two years.
