Women’s Lacrosse Welcomes All-American Transfer Gianna Monaco

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland women's lacrosse has added All-American attacker Gianna Monaco to its roster as a transfer from Florida. Monaco was named a 2026 USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason First Team All-American before stepping away from the team for personal reasons. During the 2025 season at Florida, she appeared in all 23 games with 21 starts, totaling 73 goals and 22 assists.
