Maryland Women’s Lacrosse Adds Clemson Transfer Kira Balis

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland women’s lacrosse has added defender and draw specialist Kira Balis to its roster as a transfer from Clemson. Balis arrives in College Park after spending the past two seasons at Clemson, where she was a starter in every game. Entering her sophomore season, she was ranked No. 39 on Inside Lacrosse’s list of the top players heading into the 2026 season.
