Lion Soccer drops narrow 2-0 result in home opener to Oklahoma

COMMERCE – In front of a crowd of 643 at the Lion Soccer Field on Sunday night, the East Texas A&M University soccer team narrowly fell 2-0 to the Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners are now 2-0 on the season with a 9-0 win over Northwestern State at home last Wednesday and the 2-0 win over the Lions on Sunday night. The Lady Demons and East Texas A&M were picked 1-2 in the preseason Southland Conference poll. The loss drops the Lions to 1-1 on the season and East Texas A&M lost its home opener for the first time since 2022....
